Letter from the President
Hello and welcome to the Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Southern California! My name is Rachel Kosic and I am the 2020 Chapter President. I am so excited and honored to serve my chapter this year, and continue to encourage every one of our members to “seek the heights”!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our website! I hope you gain an insight into what it really means to be a member of the Epsilon chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. Our story is unique and life-changing, and I am so glad we get to share it with you.
My experience as a member and on the executive board of this chapter has been one of the most rewarding, transformative, and fun experiences at USC. The sisters of Alpha Chi Omega continue to challenge me every day to grow as a leader and as an individual. These women surrounding me push me to be the best version of myself. Prior to becoming Chapter President, I served on the executive board as the Vice President of Recruitment, as well as on the New Member Education, Intellectual Development, and Public Relations and Marketing Committee. Outside of Alpha Chi Omega, I am involved in research in the Department of Sociology at USC, USC Science Outreach, and the USC Human Biology Association, as well as volunteering with UC San Diego Health. There is no way I could dedicate myself to all of these organizations if not for the support from my wonderful sisters in Alpha Chi Omega.
When I walk through the red door and into our home on 28th Street, my heart swells as I witness the development of lifelong friendships and memories within the walls of our chapter house. The strong bond of sisterhood in Alpha Chi Omega is what makes our collegiate and alumna experience so fulfilling. Each member is genuinely valued for their individual contribution to the chapter, no matter how big or small. We are all extremely fortunate to call Alpha Chi Omega our home away from home!
We, the Real. Strong. Women. of the Epsilon chapter, invite you to explore our website and get a look at the exceptional journey we all experience here at USC! I hope that you can see why I call this chapter my family, and why you should call Alpha Chi Omega your home, too!
